I want to write a poem that is going to be an ironic take on poets who rely too heavily on quoting other poets. If I do this, would this be considered plagiarism?

Thanks for your email and inquiry! Unfortunately, we can't provide you with any legal advice. But, that said, you might run into copyright issues with regards to the use of unacknowledged quotations. There are exceptions that are made if the piece is meant as parody, but to really determine whether there are any copyright issues, you'll need to consult with a copyright attorney.
